Mr. Henry Shapiro has developed a variety of high quality ophthalmic surgical instruments that have been widely used by leading doctors throughout the world. Mr. Shapiro holds several US and International patents, including the famous Shapiro cutter. Mr. Shapiro has dedicated his entire professional life to the surgical ophthalmology field. His immense interaction within the industry has given him an admirable and well respected reputation. Prior to establishing H.S. international, Mr. Shapiro launched his career with Cooper Vision, Inc, where he devoted over 10 years of his career to challenging engineering positions. Mr. Shapiro holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic Institute in St Petersburg, Russia.
